Tami was a US Arts Envoy in January 2020! She travelled to Israel and set Contain Yourself on students at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and taught at professional acting schools around the country.
Sense
Sense was originally commissioned by the Czech Center as part of the Prague NY Effects Festival. By touching beams of light dancers trigger sound...so the dancers in effect help create the music. This installation makes us more sensitive to how we occupy space by making the visible audible. Everything we do reverberates out into the world but most of the time we just don't track it. What if we did?
